Expense trackers get abandoned three days into a trip because logging a coffee is a chore with no payoff. Souvenir makes the ledger worth reading. Each day is a chapter on a dotted route: what you spent, the photos and videos you attached, where you were, what the day cost against your budget, and an automatic marker the first time you cross a border.

Underneath it is a serious money tool. Every expense stores the amount in the currency you actually paid, converted using the mid-market rate of the day you spent it — not today’s rate. Entries made offline convert themselves later.

And it solves the thing travel apps normally get wrong: cash. An ATM withdrawal is a transfer into a per-currency cash pocket, not spending. Cash purchases drain that pocket. Fees are tracked separately. Nothing is ever counted twice, and you always know what is really in your money belt.

Five-second entry

Amount first. The decimal keypad is up the moment the sheet opens and amount is the only required field; currency is picked from where you are, category is one tap with your recents floated to the front.

Cash pockets

Withdrawals, exchanges and cash spending modelled the way they actually work, per currency, with the banks’ cut broken out separately.

Budgets that roll over

A daily allowance that visibly grows tomorrow when you underspend today, plus a projection of where you land if you keep the current pace.

Split with people who do not have the app

Add travel companions, split expenses, and get a settle-up plan with the fewest possible payments. Invite the people you travel with and everyone works from the same ledger.

Maps, stats and export

Every located expense as a pin on a connected route, day-by-day bars against the budget line, per-country and per-category breakdowns, and CSV export per trip.
